THE NEW LATIN AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL GEOGRAPHY 
On November 29, 2007, the presentation of "The New Latin American Industrial Geography - Perspectives of Regional Integration" was held at the Argentine headquarters of the Università Di Bologna.

This activity was attended by Dr. Vicente N. Donato, Director of the Fundación Observatorio PyME, Carlos Álvarez, President of the Commission of the Permanent Representatives of MERCOSUR, and Beatriz Nofal, President of the National Investment Development Agency.
 
GENERAL PURPOSE
Present the sectoral territorial distribution of the industry in Latin America. Cases: Argentina, Chile and Venezuela.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Illustrate and discuss the argentinian experience 
of the Fundación Observatorio PyME, in the elaboration of Latin American geographies as instruments to promote regional productive integration
Analyze the proposed methodology for the identification of single-sector agglomerations of industrial SMEs and of the sectoral specializations of each of the countries.
